The River Yoga Sunnyside

This studio made me fall in love with yoga and the community around it. The teachers/instructors helped me learn from ground zero, and in the best way possible. I have never felt more safe in a workout/movement environment. No matter your skill level or background, the studio genuinely has the perfect class and teacher for you. I highly recommend trying a class from Lisa, Lindsey, Marisa K and Krystal. :)

I love this space. I joined the River at the recommendation of a friend just over a year ago. The community has multiple locations in Denver, but Sunnyside is the location I go to most often. Everyone is so welcoming and the space reflects that. It hosts two large studios, one with garage doors for open air classes during nice weather. The space is clean, feels safe, the heated class are wonderful during cold months and teachers are fabulous. One of my favorite things about the River classes are that every class can be adapted to what you need. There is no judgment on your movement or what you personally need from the space any given day. Longtime ClassPass user, but ended up just recently getting a membership to River Yoga because I love it here so much. The instructors are amazing and there is always a class that works with my schedule. The studio is very clean and welcoming. Sunnyside has a great atmosphere that always keeps me coming back. Shout out to Carolyn B., Jess Y., and Krystal M., who I practice with the most. Love your classes!

Most of the classes offered are heated (that's fine), with loud music and the instructor YELLING over all the noise to guide the class. Not my ideal class, personally. One of the instructors was incredible and I really liked his classes. Their cancellation policy is absurd, especially for an organization that regularly cancels classes. I probably won't go back.

I love The River :') all three of the locations are beautiful. Every single teacher, every class, and every flow is so, so good. I always look forward to coming in to the studio, because I know I'll leave feeling even better. After a hot yoga class at the Sunnyside location, I accidentally grabbed the wrong pair of boots on my way out, and the person whose boots I stole took mine home with them. The River staff went above and beyond to reconnect me with my boots, and I'm so grateful. No matter how long you've been doing yoga, what your comfort level or experience is, there is a home for your practice here. I'd highly recommend The River.
